The lodge and its amenities are amazing!! Rod and Lisa are two of the nicest people you will meet and went out of their way to make this trip the best experience possible.  This place was always clean and comfortable.  They cooked steak and lobster for us every night.  We never went a moment without being hungry or had a drink in hand, I would recommend this place to everyone!  Nic Luhrs  Gretna , Nebraska

have had the pleasure of staying & dining with Rod & Lisa at their lodge on two occasions. After a long day of travel I was instantly welcomed as family & made to feel completely at ease! The lodge is large, comfortable and has plenty of space to interact with other hunters, get some privacy or take a plunge in the hot tub! If you want plenty of AWESOME food - you have come to the right place! Lunches are made for hunters every day - sandwiches, snacks, cookies, etc - more than enough! Meals are hardy with lasagna, lobster & of course the famous home made pies every night! You absolutely can not go wrong by staying at this hidden gem in the north east corner of Maine! Check them out, go on an adventure, chase some lighthouses, fish hunt and them go back to the comforts of their lodge & enjoy a cocktail and a wonderful meal! We have stayed with Rod and Lisa twice now. From the very first minute we met them they made us feel like family. There was NEVER an awkward moment, lol. From the accommodations, guides, and food, should have mentioned food first. Unbelievable meals and desserts and if you are hungry when you get up from the table it is your own fault. At my age, (old), I consider myself a lucky man.  I have had the good fortune and great friendships to be able to pursue my favorite sports, fly fishing and bass fishing.  From Lake Okeechobee and Stick Marsh in Florida to the St Croix River in Maine and including lots of rivers, streams and lakes in between. I've enjoyed them all, but, my favorite by far are the lakes and rivers in Washington County Maine. Thanks to Rodney and Lisa's hospitality I have experienced some of the most spectacular Smallmouth Bass fishing in the most pristine surroundings I could ever imagine.  Winding down after a fantastic day of fishing with fresh steamed lobsters and Lisa's home made blueberry pie was unforgettable.  Spending time with Rodney and Lisa and fishing the rivers and lakes up there is probably as close to Heaven as you can get down here on earth.  Hopefully I can get another trip up there again soon.   Sam Bunting, Gloucester, Va.
